COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Bottled. An amber/ginger coloured beer with a thick whitish head and lacing. A good resinous hoppy aroma with sweet malts. It’s the same in the mouth. Typically good US hopping and the malts don’t let the side down. Pretty good.

Pours a beautiful clear amber with a frothy beige head. Powerful aroma of pine, grass, and sweet citrus. Smooth, full mouthfeel. Bitter citrus, pine, and grassy hops dominate the flavor. there is a slight biscuit malt hiding in there for decent balance. Finishes pretty bitter. A good IPA

Bottle. Orange with a medium body and some presence of hops. Not very impressive as IPA’s go. In fact pretty boring.

Bottle. A - Fairly dark and hazy copper color with a large, thick, creamy, foamy, and sticky head. Pretty good retention with a nice sticky layer of lace left over. S - Citrus grapefruit and orange pops out along with a lot of pine, floral, and herbal hops. Some pale malt in the background. Some caramel malt as well. Very strong hop hop aroma. T - Much less fruit hop flavors than in the aroma. Good amount of pine and floral and some herbal hop flavors. Some pale malt in the background. A good amount of bitterness with just a touch of malty sweetness. Definitely more bitter, but not unbalanced. Slight citrus flavor lingers. M - Medium body with a good amount of carbonation. A bit smooth and a touch of a drying finish. D - Fairly drinkable beer with a good amount of hop flavors and bitterness. Not totally unbalanced, but a little unbalanced. Pretty refreshing drink though. Notes: Pretty good beer, but not outstanding. Just seems like a basic IPA. Aroma is pretty strong and fruity while the taste is a bit more bitter and pine/floral taste.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2011 Bottle. Pour is clear copper orange with a big fluffy tight head which dissipates to a film on top. Aroma is potent pine and grapefruit, very clean smell. Taste is big grapefruit and pine needles which leave me wanting more. Palate is slick clean and sticky and finishes dry. This is a new favorite, I will be buying more of this!

Bottle. Amber brown with a thin foam. Aromas are chewy toffee malts with light pine and light oranges. Yeasty with biscuit malts. Flavours are sweet toffee and toast malts with earthy hops. Some herbal notes with citrus. Reminded me of White Shield. Good.

12 oz bottle. Light brown head with good retention - minimal lacing. Strong copper coloring. Aroma of pine, citrus, and hints of citrus and a cask undertones. Citrus flavor is stronger after the initial taste. Slight caramel and earthy notes. Mouthfeel is a little lean, but finish is clean. Great example of the style.

33 cl bottle. Golden copper color, huge tan head. Aroma of grass, butterscotch, light citrus. Taste is bitter start to finish, with pine and scotch. Medium body. Decent.
