COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of citrus, tropical fruits, flowers and caramel malt. Clear amber hue with an average sized off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Palate is watery soft and light bodied. Overall a good IPA that was refreshing.

Pours a clear copper with a thick head and nice lacing. Floral, citrus and pine hops balanced by just enough caramel malt sweetness. Not sure there’s a better IPA that I can just pick up a sixer of at the grocery store (and drink more than one). All around a solid IPA.

Bottle. Clear orangeish color. Aroma is very hoppy. Spicy, piney and catty in nature. Taste is also very hoppy. Slightly dry and earthy. Very hoppy.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Medium amber brew with an off white head. Aroma of pine, citrus (grapefruit) hops with a hint of earthy malt. Flavor is dominated by citrus and grapefruit tone to the hops profile, wisps of caramel malt in there as well. Hops dominate the swallow with the finish crisp, clean, and bitter. Not a hint of anything nasty and not overhopped. Palate is good but actually a bit thin and light. A fine IPA.

12 oz bottle; Aroma is nice hop texture, maybe cascade, with some malt backing. Pungent slightly, astringent, and mostly pine scent on this brew. Appearance is a medium to light amber color with a full off white head that lingers for quite a while. Taste is hop forward with a slight bit of malt poking through on the backend. Palate is light to medium carbonation, medium to heavy on the tongue with a lingering aftertaste of the hop bitterness. Overall, It’s not a stellar India Pale Ale but it’s drinkable and tastes reasonably good. Cheers!

Bottle. I think this one’s not exactly as fresh as it could be, but it’s still very enjoyable. A rather hazy brown-orange in the glass with a small off-white head and some nice lacing. Aroma brings citrusy hops, caramelly malt. Flavor is led in by caramel malt, some biscuit/bread notes, and a medium level of hop bitterness. Citrusy hops carry through into the finish. A pretty tasty IPA, really - I bet it’s really good when it’s nice and fresh.

Bottle. How have I not rated this yet? Probably Big Sky’s most widely distributed beer. Pours clear amber/garnet. medium somewhat persistent off-white head, solid lacing. Nose is quite fresh and delicate, pretty cold cream, florals, spicy gentle mandarin orange, some pine/spruce/cedar notes. Malt is very honeyed and just discernible in the background. Flavours run the the juicy and cedar-bough parts of the spectrum, soft, and nicely bitter towards the finish. A winner!
