COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

A good example of an American IPA. Doesn’t disappoint, but isn’t necessarily unique, either. Not a whole lot of aroma. Mildly bitter, refreshing hop taste with a healthy mix of citrus and pine (like I said, a good example of an American IPA). I’d like to rate this one again in a few months and see how I feel about it then.

Rather clear golden pint from draft. No real overwhelming smell. Just a very solid IPA. Lots of clean hops shine thru. Just a bit of citrus fruit on the nose and taste. And very little in the way of sweetness. Could be used as a definition of an American ipa.

12 oz bottle. Pours copper with a two finger, off white head into a tulip. Heavy, resiny, piney hops in the aroma, bready malts, burnt sugar, grapefruit. The hop flavor is pretty soft with bready malts evident on the back of the palate. A honey sweetness is evident as well. Medium bodied with a fuzzy mouthfeel and a medium level of carbonation. A straightforward, soft IPA. Alright.

(12oz bottle thanks to mar) pours clear rich orange, nice bubbles and lace. Nose of cracker, mango, artificial fruit, and metal. Taste of earth, bread, English hops, bitter oils. Medium body that’s oily slick and decently sweet.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear orange color with a fizzy white head. Lots of citrus and peppery hops in the aroma. A slight malt sweetness comes through near the end, but the hops definitely dominate. Bitter and floral hops at the start with a lot of bitterness following up. Very light on the citrus and malt, leaving nothing but the citrus and herbal nature of the hops to swirl around the palate. Dry and very peppery at the finish with a very bitter and lingering aftertaste that mixes with a slight amount of fruit notes.

Bottle. Pours a clear almost-orange color. Aroma is of strong hops and malty sweetness, almost like molasses. The sweet, carmelized malt flavor and the hops just don’t jive right with me...
