3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Has the right combination of malty sweetness and hops to make it very drinkable. Its how I like an IPA.

Poured a 12oz brown bottle into a nucleated schooner glass, a clear medium orange amber colour with thin but persistent white foam and lace. Rich caramel malt sweetness supporting even bigger American hop bill: grapefruit, woodsy, with dank resin (Simcoe?), tangy sweet citrus and overripe apricots (Crystal?). Lingering bitter bite blending well with fruity English ale yeast esters. Definitely a hops-forward balanced, but more tasty and nicely layered than many competing A-IPAs. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth, well-rounded mouthfeel, nice alcoholic strength, long-lasting bittersweet and fruity aftertastes. Very tasty.

Pours a nice clear amber from a bottle. Aroma of tropical fruit, pine-y. Flavor similar, rather bitter. Good beer.

Have had this in the bottle here in Brisbane from BeerBarons but not on tap before. I remember the bottle to have been a solid IPA. I think these kegs have had a very long journey across the seas from Montana to Down Under.

Bottle. Tastes like mellow grapefruit and pine hops, some resin, some sweet grapefruit, and bready malt. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet grapefruit, bready and toasted malt, light resin, and grapefruit and pine hops.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Can) Deep amber brown with good off-white head. Nice aroma of grapefruit with some peppery spice. Great palate, smooth medium bodied with good carbonation. Taste starts with a nice balance of light caramel malt and citrus and steadily herbal then hoppy bitter notes strengthen, but without ever beck ing aggressive. Nice drinkable hoppy IPA.

Sampled from a 12 oz bottle. A malty, smooth and balanced IPA overall. Medium body with notes of earth, pine and a touch of toffee and caramel malt to round things out.

I’d buy this on the ’reg for sure. Nice front of hops, pine, some floral and earthy smells and tastes to it. Makes me thing of being out in the woods. The official beer of the lumberjack. Orange blond in color, very nice to drink this

Can. Nice enough, caramel maltiness, light hoppiness, bit of citrus. Alright.

Solid IPA - slightly malt dominant - a good amount of herbal, fruity hops - a bit two dimensional - light on the tongue - decent bitterness - a quaffer - not exciting and wouldn’t seek it out but wouldn’t turn it down if offered.
