COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Good ipa! Nice head, a bit sudsy, but lasts. Smoky and malty aroma, very smooth, not as bitter as you’d think after the hoppy aroma

Poured from a can. Gusher. Cloudy orange color, medium foamy off white head. Unusual fragrance for a IPA, I get hops and malt with a sweet citrus smell. Mild hops flavor with bitter undertones and a kind of flat finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of malt and hops, cloudy caramel color. Strong taste of malt, slightly sour with a watery bitter palate.

Appearance: pretty clear maroon to almost ruby color, pours with a small tan head Aroma: malty caramel, has a bitterness to it but caramel is predominant, some grain Taste: strong bitterness throughout, grass, some citrus, Palate: lively carbonation, heavy mouthfeel, leaves mouth wet, has a strong bitter aftertaste Overall: not a bad beer but I feel like it doesn’t have enough hop character besides the bitterness, could use some more complexity, better once it warms up a bit ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good for an IPA. Has the high hop taste you would expect without over doing it. Slight pine taste on the backbend but doesn’t over do the bitterness.

pours a dark reddish clear with a thick off white head that left a lot of lacing around the glass. the aroma is caramel, pine, hops, and citrus. the taste is all the same features especially the pine and some citrus. there is quite a bit of hop bitterness but not at a point where it is overpowering. solid beer!

Pours a dark reddish amber, with decent but fast fading white head. Aroma is piney hops and slight caramel malts. Taste is moderately bitter and balanced with a good hop profile mixed into caramel malts. Thin on the palate, not overly carbonated. Meh.

12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish orange with a minimal lighter off white head. Light lace left. The aroma is a sweet fruity hoppiness, with nothing else detectable. The flavor is a little sweet on the front, with a decent hoppiness and a rather disappointing level of bitterness. The mouth feel is really thin, and the flavors seem to disappear as soon as you stop drinking. Not overly bad, but nothing special by any means. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle. pours translucent golden orange. clean nose, bitter but without a real blast of Simcoe. bitter finish really lingers and that’s where the booze becomes apparent, but palate is fizzy and thin for an IPA. not terribly complex which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but heavy on the malty caramel sweetness. not bad but not really my favourite kind of IPA. probably better on draught.
