COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Poured into a pint glass. Deep hazy amber with a fairly thick tan head that mellows slightly but has fairly good retention. Aroma is mostly floral hops with some pine/spruce notes. Flavor is again primarily hops but also has some sweet and malty (caramel and cereal) notes in the background and on the finish. Palate is interesting for an IPA because the hop flavor is prevalent but the usual hop bitterness isn’t very strong. Overall this is a very good IPA that I will likely be drinking again in the future.

Bottled. Poured near-clear medium amber with a short-lived, but sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet caramel spiced up by citrus and piney hoppage.. quasi-juicy, but it didn’t really pop.. no complaints, though. The flavor found sweet caramel again at the core.. a little more bitter than the nose indicated, showcasing pine needles and fruity notes.. lots of residual bitterness and a hint of oxidation on the finish.. OK feel and flow.. not bad, but not memorable.

Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Reddish amber with white head. A little maltier than many American IPA’s that I have tried so far, giving a slighter fuller flavour. There is a caramel sweetness though that adds a slight negative to the beer, the hops still show through pretty well with a fresh, herby type flavour. Pretty decent and lasting on the palate.

light reddish brown with large and persistent white head. nose of citrus and herbal hops. solid bitterness, average to slightly below for the style before a lot of enjoyable herbal and citrus hops before some low crystal malt, perhaps munich, before slight residual sweetness, maybe a bit high for the ideal version of the style. overall an above average version

Clear amber beer, but a glorious off-white head nonetheless. Floral hop citrus aroma. Strict bite and strong bitter flavor. Effervescent$ texture. Enjoyable for most for sure. Good luck!

bottle. A lot of taste going on in this beer. Its a hoppy beer, but with a lot of malt body. You feel two sizes bigger after a couple of these beers.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2011 Copper pour with quickly disappearing off-white head. Nose is citrus/resin hops and light malt. light body. lightly toasted malts and citrus hops. relatively flat finish, flavors generally disappear quickly as you drink. weak but lingering resiny bitter finish and aftertaste Well balanced but i’d prefer more

Amber pour from bottle with a medium head. Aroma and taste are pine, citrus and well blended hops. Dry, bitter finish. Very solid IPA.
