jgentgesdo (544), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA May 10, 2008 Pours clear amber with a medium tan head that quickly disintegrates into a frothy mess. Nose is wonderful powerful grapefruit hops, with an overlay of apple. Flavor is predominately hoppy, strong grapefruit and lighter pine hops, thin caramel malt backbone. Watery, grapefruit finish. Sweet on the tongue but dry in the finish. Really pretty good.
Aubrey (2603), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 29, 2008 Been drinking this for quite some time; not sure why I haven’t rated it yet. It pours with a nice color (copper-amber) and nice beige head. Crisp and bright texture. Malts only have light caramel, toast and cream (just a light sweetness). Snappy, citrusy hop bitterness. Pinch of sourness. Flowery aroma. Healthy bitterness, though not overdone. Zippy pine and orange follow. Has a nice zinginess to it. Curiously, some bottles seem to taste much better than others. RasterMaster (8), , Oklahoma, USA does not count Sep 25, 2008 Golden pour with frothy peach colored head (which returns with each drink) showing carbonated fizzy lacing traces on the glass. Leaves a sllightly bitter malted amber hoppiness aftertaste. dalekliz (206), San Diego, California, USA Sep 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear brownish-amber with a thin white head. Nice hoppy aroma, bitter and citrusy, with pine notes. Taste is quite sharp, of hops and malt, and a little herbal and astringent. Lingering sharp bitterness. Pretty good IPA. nuplastikk (459), Maryland, USA Sep 23, 2008 12oz bottle. Dark stained-glass orange colored, looks filtered. On the lemony side of the IPA taste range, in a good way. Excellent balance and very enjoyably bitter. Dry and piny, not your run of the mill IPA. danielcurtis81 (97), San Diego, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Piney aromas, and flavors. A bit thin on the palate. A decent IPA!
