COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Bottle. Semi hazy dark straw/copper pour with 1-finger off-white head. Nice crisp hop aroma plus some caramel malt. The hop flavor was also crisp, citric, very pure and fresh tasting, and well matched by a solid malt bill. Solid complexity. I’d buy this by the case if I could.

Bottle poured a clear copper with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of earthy hops, light pine and carmel. Palate was light to medium bodied and slightly dry. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and light pine with a lingering bitter finish.

Bottled. Poured near-clear medium amber with a short-lived, but sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet caramel spiced up by citrus and piney hoppage.. quasi-juicy, but it didn’t really pop.. no complaints, though. The flavor found sweet caramel again at the core.. a little more bitter than the nose indicated, showcasing pine needles and fruity notes.. lots of residual bitterness and a hint of oxidation on the finish.. OK feel and flow.. not bad, but not memorable.

Bottle from Peter (Mr Pitstop brewery) Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove Nr Wantage, many thanks to Peter for dropping these off at my work, consumed at Castleton campsite, Peak District, Derbyshire, 20.09.10 Pours amber with a clean white head, some carbonation. The aroma is hoppy but tinged with a sweetness. Some tasty steely hops start to show, clean, good bitterness, fine. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2

Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head and light lacing, slight retention. Hoppy with plenty of malt as well. Piney hop tones up front, lighter grass and a hint of fruit, citrus like. Malty backbone with a medium body and a light malt sweetness. Decent.
