3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours copper with a two finger, off white head into a tulip. Heavy, resiny, piney hops in the aroma, bready malts, burnt sugar, grapefruit. The hop flavor is pretty soft with bready malts evident on the back of the palate. A honey sweetness is evident as well. Medium bodied with a fuzzy mouthfeel and a medium level of carbonation. A straightforward, soft IPA. Alright.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Got this at my liquor store at home, figured it would be worth a try since it was on the 99 cent shelf. Pours a orangey-gold color with a small off-white head that dissipates slowly. The aroma is potent, smelling of lots of fruit (sweet grapefruit I think), pine, and a nice amount of hops (more than I was expecting by smell). Tastes of pine, hops, and thatís about it. Where did all of that sweet smelling fruit go??? Not too weak of a build, but I cannot express of disappointed I am about the taste, it is nothing like the smell. Had potential, but meh.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Excellent beer. Here is an IPA that isnít over the top, itís just well made. There is a great malt-hop ballance here. Itís nice to see that these Montana guys can keep up with the west coast. The hop flavor is fresh and pronounced, without being too bitter. The malt flavor balances just enough. I dug this beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours an ugly hazy brown amber with little head that dissipates quickly. full body and light lacing. The smell is very sweet and clean. The flavor is much better than I would have expected (no offense to montana, I have family there). The hops are all up front and donít stay around on the mouth for too long, but this is a very hoppy beer none the less. I didnít read any ratings before I bought this and 88 overall is probably just about right. What this is doing in the liquor store by my house I have no clue. There is a full row of them and all of them are dusty. If I had the money to do it I might clear the shelf! Props to Montana! good beer.

Clear amber body with foamy white head. Faint aroma of citrus hops with a little bready malt. Flavor is of citrus hops, pine, caramel malt, and some grass. Mouthfeel is a little thin and finishes a little soapy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle picked up for my brother-in-law and myself to enjoy over Easter. I was pleasantly surprised with this IPA. It poured a light copper color with a one finger width white head with a decent amount of carbonation. The aroma is very typical for an IPA; hoppy with some subtle malts and a hint of pine and citrus. The taste consists of a lot of hops with some citrus hints and a nice bitterness at the end. I must also say that this left great lacing on the side of my glass. Overall, this is exactly what an IPA should be... nothing extremely special though.
