3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma of burnt malt and pretzels. Flavor is overwhelmingly bourbon and sweet malt. Basically it’s just a big mess of bourbon and malt. Yeah, it is pretty terrible...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Peter’s NY gathering, I believe shared by beerbill - this beer is a boozy bourbon mess - and I LIKE bourbon - Jim Beam - did they have to choose the Cheez Wiz of bourbon to age this one with? - there is some brown sugar and doughy character, as well as some fig - but mostly it sweet booziness and bourbon - meh.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours very black with low carbonation. Smells chocolate-y, sweet, like bourbon. heavy creamy palate, tastes heavy, dark and delicious. It has a bit of spice too. Its really balanced and the alcohol asserts itself really nicely.

750ml bottle courtesy of 5000, thanks Andre. Dark black pour with a light brown head. Vanilla aroma, some chocolate as well. Wow, you can really taste the whiskey in this, tasyes alot hotter than 8.75%, but in a good way though, this is quite tasty

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to Boltz. I couldn’t even get this from my lazy ass distributor. Pours like asphalt throwing a copper head gloriously into the air. Great hang time. Smells like sour stone fruit. Full nectar with creamy carbonation. This one is sweet man. Strong molasses and coffee bean with sour cherry, coconut, and cake bread as collateral damage. The finish lingers cloyingly.

A fellow beer nurd sent this from his new home in seattle. This beer was pretty damn good. Black and thick. Just the way I like them.
Some creaminess as well. Thanks josh for sending this great beer.

Bottle 607 or 1152.
Pours a deep black with a rich creamy brown head. Aroma is bourbon, wood, roasted barley, molasses, fruits. Flavor is fruits, bourbon, barrel, roast, chocolate. Sticky brown lacing galore clings to the side of my snifter. Nice creamy slick mouthfeel and very well balanced. Fantastic Imperial Stout, wish I had bought more of this while it was around.
