2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount. Gold and clear with a slowly dissipating, sticky white head. Aroma of fruity esters, bready malts, light skunk, socks, medium sweetness and minimal bitterness. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, pretty bland flavor. A bit dated, perhaps.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle via trade. Pours a totally clear orange with some thin, white head. Nose is interesting, there is a little bit of garbage, sort of over ripened fruit, but that said, it could be an older bottle because the other aromas are grass, lemon, some persimmon, a hint of cedar. Flavor is sweet, the fruitiness of the weizen yeast comes out, some candy, orange peel, lemon peel, light soap. Medium bodied, refreshing finish. Iím sure this reads all over the place, as was the beer, but the whole was greater than the sum of itís parts.

There aren't any glaring reasons it's not great for a filtered wheat. Tastes closer to a pilsner with the grassy refreshing notes. A good beer, but nothing special.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
The aroma is light a bit grainy. The appearance is not what Iím used to with a wheat beer. The taste was again not normal for a wheat beer. The beer is easy to drink, but overall a bit of a disapointment.

Review from notes on 06/05/10
Poured from bottle to perfect pint.
Beer is light straw in color, almost a brilliant brass. Slightly cloudy, no head, no ribbons. Smells wheaty, lightly malted, no apparent hop scents jump out at me. The beer is buttery, light, and standard for this type of offering. Amberesque in flavor, but light like a lager in body. Lower carbonation, easy to drink.
This beer is very safe within the parameters of a Pale Wheat Ale, but nothing worth missing the bus for.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a really nice beer! Poured at a good temperature with decent sized, foamy, cream-colored head that settled after a bit and lots of lace. Color is a clear yellow with several lazy bubble trails. Aroma is primarily hops, plus citrus, yeast, spice. Flavorís like nose, also has bold carbonic tang that works well with the hop bitter, quite dry, and clean. Body is just right with bright carbonation. Finish is like flavor, of average length, and very drinkable.

Sweet/light caramel malt, citrus aroma. Similar flavor; but the citrus is stronger relative to the malt. Some pepper flavor, also.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured a clear amber colour with a two- to three-finger white foamy head that retained well and laced well. Carbonation moderate with small to medium bubbles. Aroma subtly of sweet earthy malt. Taste sweet followed by a slight bitterness. Light body. Smooth, short, sweet finish. More lager-like that a wheat beer.
