COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moose Drool is our Brown Ale. Far and away the best selling beer brewed in Montana, Moose Drool is chocolate brown in color with a creamy texture. Our brown ale is a malty beer with just enough hop presence to keep it from being too sweet. The aroma also mostly comes from the malt with a hint of spiciness being added by the hops. Moose Drool is brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate, and whole black malts; and Kent Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops. It has an original gravity of 13 degrees Plato, and is 4.2% alcohol by weight, 5.3% by volume.
Note: ABV went down to 5.1%.

Serving: from (nitro) tap at Flying Squirrel Pizza Company. Aroma: light malt. Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing. Clear, dark-red/brown body. Taste: lightly sweet and roasty initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: medium bodied with watery texture and flat carbonation. Overall: really good brown ale.

Bottle in LT. Pours light brown with a tan head. Caramel and toffee on the nose with some spice and hops. Thin amount of toffee and caramel dominate the flavor with a small hop presence. Some metallic notes present as well. Does not measure up to other browns.

Can, Yellowstone Park. APPEARANCE ? a copper tinted brown, with healthy foamy head. NOSE ? very little. I can pull slight malt out of it when I?m sniffing with intensity. FLAVOR ? slight bit of grassy hop bitterness, limited malt sweetness I normally associate with a brown ale.

Nice deep brown pour with a thick off white head. Caramel, biscuit, nutty sweet aromas. Taste is nutty caramel with just a little bitterness to cut through the sweetness. Good one

A well balanced brown ale. The pour was amazing. It looks like cola with a perfect head. Taste is brown sugar and maple syrup. Damn fine beer for the price.

This was good. I kind of hate the name, but the beer is good. I actually had some wing sauce the other day that was made using this.

Poured from a bottle. Nutty roasted malt in the nose. Amber hue with thin white head that disappears shortly and minimal lacing. Caramel and toffee notes and fair amount of sweetness. Not much of a hop profile comes out, maybe a slight bit of earthiness.

Smells nutty... bit of carmel. Very dark brown in color, baby white head. Taste is smooth, nutty, and buttery with a slight bitterness at the end. A mighty fine ale!
