3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A delicious brown ale. Sweet, but without a cloying aftertaste. The result is a lighter mouthful than I’d prefer, but it’s a good trade. A little bit of bitterness on the back end adds richness. Overall, one of my favorites.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I had this from a longneck bottle. The aroma is distinctive, balanced, and malty. The flavor is malt forward, medium bodied, and the British hops shine. The modest bittering is lovely and it is the balanced achieved by that which makes this an exceptional beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. It poured a translucent brown with a small head into a shaker glass. Aroma was roasted malt with a bit of dark chocolate/coffee flavoring. It was easy to drink and fairly well balanced.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Moose Drool is a nearly clear red brown beer with a very thin and fine head of small white bubbles. Nose is sweet caramalized malt. A faint hop presence is behind the brown sugar goodness. Taste is lightly sweet and a bit of creamy earthy toasted malt on the back end. THe body is just sort of flat, but otherwise a very surprising and complex beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown. Brown ale that is very easy to drink, but lacking depth, complexity and umpf (abv).

12 oz. bottle. Not normally a dark beer drinker, but this is a good one for me.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in LT. Pours light brown with a tan head. Caramel and toffee on the nose with some spice and hops. Thin amount of toffee and caramel dominate the flavor with a small hop presence. Some metallic notes present as well. Does not measure up to other browns.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can, Yellowstone Park.
APPEARANCE ? a copper tinted brown, with healthy foamy head.
NOSE ? very little. I can pull slight malt out of it when I?m sniffing with intensity.
FLAVOR ? slight bit of grassy hop bitterness, limited malt sweetness I normally associate with a brown ale.
