COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moose Drool is our Brown Ale. Far and away the best selling beer brewed in Montana, Moose Drool is chocolate brown in color with a creamy texture. Our brown ale is a malty beer with just enough hop presence to keep it from being too sweet. The aroma also mostly comes from the malt with a hint of spiciness being added by the hops. Moose Drool is brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate, and whole black malts; and Kent Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops. It has an original gravity of 13 degrees Plato, and is 4.2% alcohol by weight, 5.3% by volume.
Note: ABV went down to 5.1%.

pretty much exactly how iíd imagine making out with a moose would taste like. light, brown nectar. real thin brew, not thick or heavy at all. for some reason was really enjoying it this way even though i usually like thicker brewz. easy to drink!

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Dark brown-colored with amber hues and a beige head. Aroma of malt, nuts, caramel, chocolate, toast, some dark fruits. Rather sweet flavor, nutty, toasty, with caramel, a chocolate hint, a light sourish hint, a fruity note, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. An OK Brown Ale.

Rating #1465 - 13.02.2015 - On tap @underground_yeg. Unfortunately titled Moo Drool due to trademarks in the Great White North. Dark brown pour with a frothy tan foam that disappears slowly. Aroma is strong roast malts, hint of nutty sweetness. Really really light in body for a brown ale. Lots of roasty, earthy notes balanced by just a tender bitterness and a creamy texture. Lots of spicy hops in the finish. A solid brown.

Pours a clear dark amber (cola brown) that is a dark ruby under intense light. World class head volume, lacing and retention. Outstanding nose of malt - biscuit, caramel and a touch of char/roast. Heavy light body that is quite smooth with a bit of oiliness in the texture. Superb carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice burst in the finish. The flavor is good but lacks intensity. Balance is world class and complexity is good. The flavors appear as a blend and donít separate much. The heavier flavors (roast, chocolate) are the most noted and sweetness never materializes. Light herbal hop flavor and bitterness provide the middle. The finish is a slow fade of blended flavor.

Old rating---Hello Montana, can. Dark brown color with a medium, frothy head. Aroma of malts. Sweet malt taste up front with some nuttiness following. The finish is pretty smooth.
