Aroma is sweet and light. Looks dark on the poor with a Mediam tan head. First taste is fairly nice. With chocolate and toffy hits. With a kinda of snap bitterness at the back end. Nothing over the top or complex with this beer. Basic medium everyday stout.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Beerenberger (791) - Fischer, Texas, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Aroma of roasted malts with a hint of coco. A dark brown pour with a rapidly diminishing tan head. The taste is similar to the nose. Roasted malts, chocolate, and some grain in the finish and aftertaste. Medium- light mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, quite tasty, but wish it were more full bodied.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 EtTuCthulhu (396) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - DEC 14, 2012
The beer is quite frothy, and the head is a nice light tan color with the beer itself being black. The aroma is full of hints of dirt, dough, and toasted malts and is quite strong without being overpowering. The taste is quite nice, for it doesn’t shock your system; rather, the light yet hearty sweetness coats your taste buds with its light-medium body. Although the taste is easy, this is a solid dark beer that fades off your tongue smoothly.
