3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma of roasted malts with a hint of coco. A dark brown pour with a rapidly diminishing tan head. The taste is similar to the nose. Roasted malts, chocolate, and some grain in the finish and aftertaste. Medium- light mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, quite tasty, but wish it were more full bodied.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A: Pours dark brown with less than a finger of transient latte foam which leaves a scratched mirror surface with a border of foam. No lace. When available near excellent clarity.
S: Oats, bitters, roasted malts, earthy hops (faint), slight sweetness.
T: Semi bitter with some earthy flavors from the malts. Slight american ale yeast flavor.
M: thin for the style with moderate carbonation. Semi dry finish.
O: Meh, not at all impressive for the style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: deep brown with ruby red hints, lighter hued than expected for an oatmeal stout, I guess. Big, light-tan head that takes a while to dissipate fully. Aroma has some deep roast, mild cocoa bean, and a bit of caramel. Kind of light and a little astringency. A tad too simple and muzzled, maybe. Taste is a bit better. Nice mild cocoa flavor, roasted malts, a touch of brown sugar, though it still could use a little surge. Mouth feel isnít quite up to par for the style. A decent oatmeal stout, but a tad too simplistic and possibly mundane.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle pours with a dark mahogany to copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, dark roasted coffee and earthy dark chocolate notes. The taste has a smooth mix of nearly dark roasted malts, coffee notes and a mild earthy chocolate. Thatís about it. Itís pretty roasty but not really burnt either. Pretty nice.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is sweet and light. Looks dark on the poor with a Mediam tan head. First taste is fairly nice. With chocolate and toffy hits. With a kinda of snap bitterness at the back end. Nothing over the top or complex with this beer. Basic medium everyday stout.
