3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden yellow color. Aromas of cherry, breads, and a scattering of hops. Flavor is subdued cherry, not as bold as the aroma. Crisp dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at the Funky 6. Pours hazy amber-red with a moderate, off-white head. Sweet, fruity aroma with maltiness. Sweet flavor, with some cherry, wood, some caramel. Medium body with light warmth. Some earthy bitterness in the finish with sweet, caramel malts. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2008 Brew pours amber honey with a tall, lasting head reducing sowly to reveal a fluffy, downy canopy. Aromas of sweet cherry malts and a bit of alcohol. Medium nectar with ample residual effers that create a soft textured sensation. Like cotton candy desolving in your mouth. Nice! Only mildly sweet with defined cherry essence but without the medicinal flavors. This is good. Usually with cherry you get a full on medicine cabinet that can be disenchanting. It’s not tart at all. Theres a strong alcohol presence that lingers even on the finish acting like an opressive iron curtain if you will silencing the fruit component. Caramel, dates, plumb, and raisins fight to be heard but their attempt is met with futility. The finish is stained with alcohol that cuts right through the delicacies. I wish there was more fruit. Overall this brew is on the right track but needs some tweaking. It’s very warming with a Belgianesque disposition.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light and hazy yet see through reddish brown with a nice velvety off white head. Aroma of sour cherry, wood, and a little funk. Flavor is cherry, wood, brett funkiness, a little acidic sourness. I’m not getting the sharp alcohol that everyone else has been complaining about. This beer wasn’t worth the $13 but it was still pretty decent. If it were a $7 bottle i’d try again.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing! Pours a murky amber-brown with a bubbly white head that fades. Aroma of cherry juice, sugar, malt. Taste of malt, cherries, sugar, baked goods, sweet spices. Lingering cherry pie flavors. Interesting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle; poured an orange-caramel color with a smallish off white head. Some floaties. Aroma of cherry, caramel, must, yeast, bread and vanilla. Slightly tart flavor; a lot of cherry with some caramel, yeast, earth and vanilla. Pretty flavorful for the style, and the alcohol is pretty evident. Solid flavor, but nothing great. Ok.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 28/2028. Hazy reddish/dark brown pour, plenty of carbonation and a weird funky dark cherry aroma. Flavor is rich dark cherry, booze, and plenty of sweetness and effervesense on the finish. Not bad, but not worth the $11/bottle IMO.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours quite red with orange highlights and a small offwhite head. Aroma of cherry, stems (think produce isle), butterscotch and faint maple. Tastes sweeter than the aroma lets on with maple, caramel, subtle fruit, that "stem" quality, old fruit (with a subtle fruitiness for the name of the beer), and nutmeg. Medium bodied, slicker than creamy, and very hot for not being 12% or something. It’s alright, but the qualities the fruit brings to the beer aren’t good ones.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Deep caramel, dirty, pinkish hued, moderate frothy off-white head, dies quickly, clumpy lacing.
Some sediment seems to be floating about.   Alcoholic nose, slight cherry, a little mealy and barnish.
On the tongue its very warning, not real biting but the cherry sweetness is pretty strong.   Somewhat mealy,
cherry is immature on the tongue.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Seems fairly smooth, albeit its fairly
warming with an assertive alcohol presense.   Finish almost nears cherry cough syrup like qualities, but backs off
before it becomes too much.   Getting some cherry like tootsie roll on the finish.   Tiz okay, but not all
that interesting in my book.
