Bottle, thanks to Cole. Pours clear golden, with a thin white head, weak lacing. Nose is sour honey, malt, light spice. Flavours of honey, cardboard, really intensely boring.

Dark yellow, clear, good carbonation. Aroma is of mild flowers with a malty and a finish that has a slight ’Bit O Honey’ candy flavor.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker.
Pours a sparkling clear, urine colored yellow. Kinda like apple juice. Almost nonexistent bright white head that disappears in an instant.
Aroma is slightly sweet malt with a strong scent of honey and a slight sent of rotting garbage.
Taste is lightly bitter and medium-heavy sour.
Thin bodied with a thin oily texture. Fizzy carbonation and an abrupt bitter finish.
Overall, this beer is not very good. Way too sour in my opinion for a honey beer. This is probably the worst beer Big Sky offers. Save yourself the time and money and buy literally anything else from this brewery.

Certainly drinkable but nothing about it stands out. Very light citrus aroma. A bit of malt flavor and some sweetness but that’s about it.

Summer Honey smells of light citrus and honey, with a strong aroma of lager yeast and malts. The taste is subtle, most flavor coming from the malts and yeast combination, there is also hints of honey found near the end of the flavor profile. The beer is light in body, with a strong carbonation.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 burg326 (1062) - Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2011
12 ounce bottle that pours like liquid gold with no head, however the brew is extremly carbonated. Only aroma that I smell is grass and hint of citrus, no honey smell. Taste is dissapointing no hops, no honey flavor, some malt comes through but that is it.

Pours a fizzy golden color with a large frothy white head. Aroma of grain, honey and sweet malts. Flavor matches the aroma. This beer is quite easy to drink, but doesn’t have much flavor at all.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2011 Bright gold, lots of carbonation, white head. Sweet corn bread and hops aroma. Taste is barley malt with notes of honey and corn and a bit of spice. Clean, slightly bitter, slightly creamy, pretty thin and a bit unbalanced. Could benefit from a bit more hops bite. A fine summer brew but overall somewhat disappointing.

Bottle,
this beer had a clear gold pour with a little red-copper color, and made a one finger white head with a little off-white bubbles, there was less than medium effervescence in the glass, and left some spots and small fingers of lacing on the glass,
this beer had the typical American wheat ale aromas of citrus with a some lemon hints, grainy wheat, and faint bread in the background,
there was little to no sweetness, I could not smell any hops, spice or honey,
the were light flavors of grain wheat and bread, with some citrus, the typical flavors I find in an American wheat beer,
there was little bitterness at the finish,
light mouth feel,
this beer smells and tastes like an Amercian Wheat not a Golden Ale or Blond ale.

Bottle @ home. Clear, golden yellow appearance with a white head. Honey, light golden ale nose. Kind of bitter, honey, sweet golden ale flavor. Pretty gross.
