3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks goes to Ed for this one. The aroma is sweet honey, pilsner malt. The flavor is herbal, earthy, sweet malts, honey, slight cardboard. Not bad probably better in the heat of summer, not when it is 10 degrees outside. Still a tasty beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass, showing a hazed gold, almost straw color, a bubbly, white, short lived head, and ribbony cling to the lacing. The nose was light grain, honey sweetness, light esters, and indistinguishable spicing. The taste started with a hint of lollipop fruitiness, then continued with a combination of lively carbonation, moderate, somewhat rindy, hop bitterness, and tartness, that was a little overwhelming for a light bodied, summer/sessionable brew. Went down okay, but not thrilled enough to purchase again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2014 Update: Sweet, biscuit malt. Lightly fruity. Some drier bready malt in the aftertaste. Not surprisingly, I enjoyed this more in June than December.
Aroma: Sweet, spiced/floral. A little fruit and bread.
Flavor: Sweet, light bread malt. Floral and lightly fruity.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured into a shaker. This beer was just okay. Nothing special about it. I got it as part of a variety pack and would not buy again. Not the best I have had from big sky.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle shared with my pal, hazy orangish pour with barely any head, funky fruit aroma, taste is weird, malty citrus, honey, doesn’t seem to play well together, meh

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a non transparent yellow color liquid with a faint shade of orange, medium carbonation, white ring around the glass for a head after the carbonation destoryed a finger layer. Aroma of grass, some hops, and rotting beehives- ugh. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt tastes like it was partly wheat, honey throughout the tasting, middle holds up, finish is a little watery. It’s ok- just kind of same ’ol same ’ol.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours gold with white head. Smell is muted honey and malt sweetness that gets stronger as it warms. Taste is pretty much crisp malt and honey. Easy drinking but perhaps a bit too much on the honey flavor.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
On tap, Land of Magic, Logan MT. Pours a transparent golden color. Aroma is very light corn, wheat. Taste is on the sweeter side, very light body with a taste that is light as well. Ok beer, but nothing that makes a statement. Seems like a common theme with montana craft beers.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: pours a thick eggshell sudsy head that recedes fairly quickly. Moderate lacing. Color is a cloudy gold with some sediment in suspension.
Aroma: there is a smell of something akin to soap, along with white yeast rolls, and a hint of hop spice
Mouthfeel: light, thin, and watery with a somewhat dry finish.
Flavor: lightly roasted sweet malts, honey, lemon, and a slight soapy flavor in the middle and finish.
Overall: this a decent, light, refreshing summer beer. Not outstanding, but good nonetheless.
