2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light honey-colored body with a fizzy white head. Somewhat weak aroma of malt, grain, and honey. Medium mouthfeel with fairly high carbonation. The flavor is a bit disappointing. Grass and/or hay with a slightly skunky honey finish. Meh.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 9/3/2014. Pours slightly hazy bright golden color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, pear, wheat, cracker, biscuit, honey, coriander, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, spice, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, pear, wheat, cracker, biscuit, honey, coriander, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, pear, wheat, cracker, biscuit, honey, coriander, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, spice, and yeast ester flavors; with a goood malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected for 5%. Overall this is a very nice blonde ale style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, spice, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma has light honey, florals and pilsner maltiness. The flavor is floral, citrusy with some grapefruit in the finish. Another clean, refreshing beer from Big Sky. Nice, but not too exciting.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
can from Utah state liquor store Park City. pours golden with an inch of white foam. Leaves a ton of lacing. a slight spice note on the nose. Definite honey on the tongue but it fades quickly. finishes clean. Itís not the most exciting beer from big sky but itís competently made.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste sweet, spice. I thought this was so so. I would skip next time.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I never expect too much from "summer" ales as they tend to just be bland blonds w/o much going on but this one is pretty great. It is a light golden brew w/ a mild floral character and a kiss of citrus from coriander. This is rather on the dry side and light to medium bodied but comes off w/ just a touch of sweetness because it is not all that bitter. Brisk carbonation contributes to a light mouthfeel and easy drinkability. This is one that will definitely hit the spot on a nice summer day.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Somewhat cloudy gold/orange appearance. Head starts out finger-length, but disappears rapidly. Sporadic lacing. Aroma of honey and earth. Flavor follows suit. Having this after a workout at the gym, and itís hitting the spot. Nice mild summer brew that does what itís supposed to do - not wow you, but fit the context of a hot weather or post-workout thirst quencher that still has some flavor. Certainly a better choice than the typical macro pale lager.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
bottle @ Johnís Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Clear pale amber with a bubbly white head and heavy stripes of lace. Taste is sweet caramel malt with carbonation and mild bittering coming along in the palate, then fading quickly in a short finish. Modest and unassuming, not a lot there, but agreeable enough.
