COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This India Pale Ale packs a larger punch than the Palmbender, but itís well-balanced characteristics make it an easy drinking IPA. Brewed with 2-row American pale ale malts and dry hopped with whole cone cascades, this cloud rolls in with an intense citrusy hop aroma that will satisfy the hophead in us all. The addition of local honey at the end of the brewing process lends a subtle sweetness for a clean finish.

Pours a medium golden amber color. Aromas of citrus and fruit. Flavor is a big hop presence with subtle tastes of fruit and vegetables, then more hops.

A reddish copper ipa with a thin creamy light mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, resinous finish, nice. In mouth, a nutty biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, treacle, a bit of metallic harshness, OK. On tap at brewery.

Tried this beer on draft in their Pasco tap room and I was pleasantly suprised. Not a huge IPA fan but this is the one I will drink.

can. Perhaps I got a bad batch, but this was about the worst IPA Iíve had. Itís what I picture the makers of Bud Light would create in an IPA.

Can from ABC. Nice fruit punch aroma. Spicy caramel malt with fruit hops and a bitter punch at the end. Better than I expected from the score here.

Iís not a big IPA fan, but was talked into trying it anyway. Arcus is a "gateway" IPA. Local honey cuts the bitterness of the hops and it finishes smooth. I can guarantee I will be drinking it in the future.

Can from Publix. Deep copper our with an average sized off-white head. Malty aroma, some fruity notes too. The flavor is balanced, with a moderate malt and hop flavor before some dryness in the finish. OK not great.

Can. Amber in color, highly carbonated head. Aroma of grass and floral hops, some toast. Flavor followed, caramel also. Mouthfeel was highly carbonated, weak body for style. Ho hum, neither bad nor good.

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit), with strong notes of rancid butter and spoiled orange juice. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Can you say "diacetyl bomb"? I knew that you could! Buttery, sour, and dirty. Always sad when such mistakes make it out onto shelves, but oh well...buyer beware.
