Poured a black color with aromas of oats, light roast, and a touch of malt. Flavors were the same but had some off flavors, not overly enjoyable for a stout.

Nitro pour at World of Beer Land O Lakes. Near pitch black color with a creamy beige head. Nice mixture of webbed and sheet lacing along the different regions of the glass’ sides. Aroma has roasty coffee notes with a touch of bittersweet chocolate. Flavor includes oatmeal, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Fair amount of bitterness in the finish.

Sampled draught as part of a flight at Dunedin House of Beer on January 19, 2014.
Clear dark brown to black color with red hints, teal head. Roasted, malty, dry taste, grainy. Dry, grainy, a tad bit astringent aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet, malty, roasted scent.

On draught at Oldsmar Tap House. Brownish-black pour with a medium thin tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate and slight hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample pour of deep murky with deep khaki head. Nose is sweet malt and bitter malt, dirty... Not fantastic. Flavor is similar, oats, rich malt, slight alcohol... Not amazing...
