Sample pour of deep murky with deep khaki head. Nose is sweet malt and bitter malt, dirty... Not fantastic. Flavor is similar, oats, rich malt, slight alcohol... Not amazing...

Poured a black color with aromas of oats, light roast, and a touch of malt. Flavors were the same but had some off flavors, not overly enjoyable for a stout.

Nitro pour at World of Beer Land O Lakes. Near pitch black color with a creamy beige head. Nice mixture of webbed and sheet lacing along the different regions of the glass’ sides. Aroma has roasty coffee notes with a touch of bittersweet chocolate. Flavor includes oatmeal, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Fair amount of bitterness in the finish.

Sampled draught as part of a flight at Dunedin House of Beer on January 19, 2014.
Clear dark brown to black color with red hints, teal head. Roasted, malty, dry taste, grainy. Dry, grainy, a tad bit astringent aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet, malty, roasted scent.

On nitro at Brass Tap Brandon. Pours black with a creamy off white head. Aroma is mellow chocolate and prunes. Taste is smooth chocolate, roasted malts and molasses. Not bad.

On draught at Oldsmar Tap House. Brownish-black pour with a medium thin tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate and slight hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
