On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination brown sugar and sweet chocolate with just a hint of pecan. Flavor has chocolate up front with a good amount of brown sugar and pecan in the finish.

Pours a clear, dark cola brown. Nutty, maple syrup nose. Slick texture with a slight sharpness at the finish. Nutty, maple syrup, and brown sugar flavors. Over the top without being offensive or gimmicky.

This was surprisingly OK. Aroma was sweet pecans, almost like a praline. Color was dark brown with a small head. Palate was creamy with little carbonation. Taste reminded me of the sweetness of a sweet or milk stout. Pecans were present in a nice roasted sense. Good beer but I don’t suggest it with a steak.

Thanks to tizzlejizzle for sharing this growler. The beer pours a brownish color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of pecan notes, as well as a good dose of caramel and toffee malt. The flavor is similar, with a few added notes. I get some pecan and vanilla notes, as well as some caramel. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.
