Light copper color. Itís all here. The hop flavors are complex citric, piney, herbal, floral and integrates well with the carmel malt and residual sweetness that provides the backbone for this extensively dry hopped brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with an off white head that dissipates to the edges, atoms has a light pine note but mainly sweet grain and bread. Flavor starts with light citrus and pine but finish is mainly sweet grain, butterscotch and cookie.

Pours a murky copper-golden. Very faint peachy citrus nose. Mouthfeel is smooth, but mildly powdery. Peachy citrus flavor that progressively becomes more bitter at the finish.

Poured from a bomber. Hazy orange color, smells of a fruit made of a wet towel. Wet towel taste with a slight bitter finish.

Great fruit aroma of fruit, taste is more bitter than you would expect. But with a delicious sweet and sour palate.

TizzleJizzle (628) - Garland, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2012
On tap at the Big Texan. Nice floral hop aroma. Poured a burnt amber color with hardly any head. Taste of spruce, citrus and slight sweetness. Lingering, but not overpowering bitterness on the palate. Not a good representation of the style IMO

Out of the array of nine beers they had available, this one seemed the most promising. The best quality was the palate as it was more substantial than expected. The color was sandy brown. The aroma leaned toward the floral side, which was somewhat understated. Hops are at the front but donít last as youíre hit by an indescribable sweetness that doesnít offend but doesnít quite fit either. Easy to drink with food but does not leave a lasting impression. If Iím back, Iíll experiment with something else.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy deep orange with a thin white head. Aroma of crystal malt, citrus, tropical fruits. Flavor is fruitier than aroma with lots of banana, grapefruit, and orange with some maltiness in the finish. Alcoholic fruit aftertones. Overall, a fruity ipa and pretty drinkable (the chalkboard specifically noted that this was the "new" ipa so I would disregard the first rating of this beer). 6/4/7/4/14 (3.5/5)

Pours a burnt sugar color, not much head. Great even aroma, Very good citrus taste. Represents the style nicely. They changed recipes recently and I say they have a winner now. In fact I was so pleased I grabbed a Growler of it

Tap at Big Texan. Pours a murky light golden yellow color. Foamy white head. Aroma is slighty rotten, milky with some celery. Flavor is mainly dry, I guess there is a small amount of hops in it but it is dry and vegetal. Not a good representation of the style. Probably near the bottom of the keg but this was generally unpleasant.
