This American style pale ale is brewed with pale and Munich malts, American hops, and crushed hemp seeds. The result is golden coloured ale, with hints of fruitiness balanced by a nutty characteristic from the hemp seeds. Light and refreshing.

Nice light lager flavor - good for a summer BBQ. ********************************************

[on tap at brewpub] Peppery phenolic aroma with some lagery maltiness. Clear dark yellow with only some white lace on the glass walls. Phenolic peppery flavour with some sweet citrus and biscuity notes that appear after the beer warms. Unremarkable, though somewhat delicately in balance with a subtle bitterness. Light body, moderate to medium carbonation, phenolic finish.

Draft at Big Tide, plus also half a growler. Gold/brass colour without much head. Aroma is mostly grain malts with the hemp seeds giving it a poppy or sesame bagel kind of quality. Taste is more sweet malt with the seedy/nutty undertone with some light hops on the finish. Body is crisp and medium.

2011-08-01. Crisp dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Mild flavour of sweet pale malt, lightly fruity, modest bitterness in the finish. Crisp, fairly refreshing. 6+ Aroma is fruity, and reminiscent of other hemp beers that I have had. 6+ Average plus bodied palate is fairly smooth. 3+ Enjoyable, but fairly mild. Starts to become a little rougher around the edges as it warms up. On tap at the brewpub, Saint John

light in color, small head. flower, nuts and some toffee on the palate. light-medium body. Overall, a seemingly typical British pale ale.
