Warm orange-amber with feint head. Feint candi-sugar in aroma and similar quality in flavor along with tinges of bubble gum. No further noticeable development of yeastiness, phenols, esters, etc. Uncomplex, one note BSA. Too much residual sugar, yet rather bitter.

Had the cask conditioned and non conditioned one- gotta say surprisingly the cask conditioned one didnt really do it for me. It was warm and flat - and had a weird kind of foul strawberry taste to it. So let me talk about the non cask conditioned one - fruite nose and taste (and fruity as in pleasant non modly strawberries) Nice and refreshing yeast taste- lots of alcohol.

Draft at Elysian Tangletown. Known there as "666: The Resurrection." Pours a cloudy medium amber with a dense but shallow tan head. Sweet white sugar and woody nose. Mild piney hop. Thick, sticky, slightly oily body. Wood, sugar, and mild resiny hop on the mid-palate, with a long, woody, resiny finish. Not bad but not something that has found much personality of its own.

clear golden amber hue with a well sized head. Slight belgian spice aroma, and a somewhat flat taste. Decent enough, but this genre garners a high standard.

pour at Brouwer’s. Bright and deep orange appearance. Fruity nose with carmalized dark fruit in the taste. too sweet with unbalanced malt in the body. Unbalanced and a bit boozy, too much waxy fruit too.
