2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Andrew196 (1091) - Katy, USA - FEB 18, 2003
A dark orange colored beer. The aroma was slightly soapy, as was the taste...never good in a beer. I did get some hoppiness in the finish which kept me from totally hating the beer.

Pours a dark cherry with minimal head. Smell is a bit malty cherry. Taste has some spice to it. Drinkable.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dogbrick (4828) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hops. Light body with a sweet roasted malt character and notes of caramel and hops. The finish is short with a sweet malt aftertaste. Average Amber overall.

A quite dark red. This is decent. Not too malty, it has a bit of body but not too thick. Pretty decent.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 eboats (1067) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 23, 2011
On tap at Big Time. Poured muddy amber with a white head. Aroma was sweet berries and fruit with a light note of wet bread. Light sweetness, light bitterness, and a thin body.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 scrizzz (2218) - Bothell, Washington, USA - DEC 16, 2010
Bottle from the brewery. Earthy nose accented with caramel, light on the hops. Oranged amber, creamy off white head. Great as a sessionable beer, great when critiqued. Roast forward with brown sugar, matched by a hop profile that offers balance and doesn’t distract from this easy drinker.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A sweet caramel and hop nose. The flavor is thin and earthy, citrus hops. A nice amber.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 luttonm (960) - Belgrade, SERBIA - APR 5, 2010
From Dec 09. Wattery malt head. Ruddy amber and solid malting. Not my favorite and not their best.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 killjoy966 (569) - Washington, USA - MAR 7, 2010
Pint at The Hi-Life. Pretty standard amber ale. Completely overshadowed by the delicious steak I had. Malty and sweet but without a lot of complexity.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beershine (4711) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle. Dark amber-brown and almost opaque. Tan head with modest retention. Healthy balanced aroma has crisp hops and nice bready malt. Nice sweetness on the palate leaves the bread flavors almost like a sweet German dunkel malt. But lacking complexity. Pretty decent session beer.
