Not entirely sure this wasn’t just a play on Old Wooly, but it had a distinct flavor. On tap at Brouwer’s Hard Liver 2011. ’09 Vintage. Ruby amber pour. Fruit and caramel on the nose, with a slight hop backbone. Just a small amount of carbonation (seemed just right), with some hops, mild booze, and plenty of overripe fruits. Slightly dilute, but has a great balance.
