Looked like a cloudy cider...almost like toilet water? Not very attractive IMO. This beer was just weird from start to finish. Not a typical brown as far as taste, it had a weird maltiness, followed by a very sour finish....yuck!

Quite dark in appearance, almost porter like. Really great chocolate aroma with just a touch of burnt toast. Sweet flavor with a light roasty finish. A solid brew that I am going to return to next time at Big Time.

I had this on both regular draft and nitro taps--and it was suprisingly good--though not outstanding. Mahogany bodied with a nice layer of cream and an exciting sweet rounded brown ale and chocolate aroma. Light chocolate and carmel form one half of the dichotomy and the hop backbone the other. These disparate elements--clash and coalesce--playing off each other delectably. A good find from Big Time.
