On tap. Brownish black with thin, fading layer of beige foam. Very smokey, like the Makisupa stout. Roasted barley and blackened coffee, with a syrup sweetener. Mildly sweet, very dry. A little rough and rugged for a porter.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2012
Draught at the brewpub, 5.4% ABV Black color, with creamy head. Not very Porter, but it has a nice aroma of roasted malts. There is some flavor of very dark chocolate, but covered by the high roastiness character; in the final, with the roasted malts and ashes, there is still some underlying chocolate. More Stout than Porter, but good.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 CampesinoTino (613) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Bomber. Appearance is black with a solid layer of light brown foam. Mostly dark roasted malts and coffee in the aroma with a bit of cocoa powder. The flavor is similar with bittersweet chocolate and roast malt at the forefront in addition to some slight caramel sweetness and smokiness. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with adequate carbonation and dry, smoky finish. Relatively light and easy drinking for a Porter.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours dark brown with a medium thin beige head that diminishes slowly to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Light to medium body with a sweet roasty character and notes of chocolate malt, caramel and mild coffee. The finish is sweet and malty with a lightly bitter coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
