jah noth (941), Rochester, New York, USA Apr 18, 2008 Roasted ash aroma, some choco, slight smokiness. Opaque with crimson edges yet maintains a light swirl. Black malts are nicely balanced with slight creamy caramel and decent hoppiness. Just a great beer. Thanks André!

Rich, roasty dark chocolate and mild sweet caramel malt backbone with bits of woodiness and coffee bean hints. Nice light floral hop component. A tad yeasty on the finish. Nice drink overall. Sammy (3141), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 1, 2008 Sessionable porter that’s well malted, with chocolate malts, and so quite drinkable. Hops are secondary but there. Black with moderate white head. Aroma of mild roast. Well balanced and satisfying. Medium mouthfeel. Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 14, 2008 Pours almost opaque but not totally, with nice layer of foam and lace. Nose is light and clean and so are the flavors, which include mainly coffee. Decent mouthfeel and quaffable if not exciting.
