Nose is interesting. Smells like mole - go figure. CInnamon, chili, chipotle, roasted notes are there as well as a little dark bitter chocolate. pours black, thin head, no lace. The flavor is roasty and spicy up front followed by a blast of cinnmon, dark malts. Lingering spicy chipotle dries out the palate and can be felt in the back of the throat. Interesting. Good.

On tap at Naked City. This is the craziest beer I’ve had. Spicy chili that made me choke on first sip (didn’t know what mole was). Smells like cinammon red hots, which is cool. Not a four because I don’t think I could drink a whole pint.

Winter Brewers Festival 2010 – Seattle, WA
Brown in color, hazy with a thin head. Light chili and chocolate aroma. Some characteristics of chocolate and super light chilies flavor came out. The flavors where of a Porter with added spices and flavors. Did no hit the mark in my book.
