Draft at big time. Chill hazed darker golden with decent dense had formed by the bartender. Apple an banana phenols with honey wheat cereal grain. Peppery up front, followed by estery banana and apple, light wheat, and plenty of clove throughout. Little rough and the clove just dominates as it warms.

Hazy dark golden color with lasting ivory sheen. Pale malt, herbal, spicy belgian yeast aromas. medium body. Dusty bready pale malt flavors with candi sugar, spicy yeast... mildly boozy warming finish--good
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Smurf2055 (380) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Pours straw colored with a couple fingers head. Sweet smell. Powerful taste. Hoppy, bitter. Complex. It’s a bit rough, but drinkable. Wouldn’t classify it as an abbey style ale. It’s good, but when there’s Cereal Killer and Old Wooly on, there are better options.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BillKismet (2753) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2007
Dark bronze/brass color. Little apparent yeastiness. More reminiscent of an English Strong ale with the strong influence of candi-sugar and mild hop bitterness.

Dark gold color, aroma and appearance nothing special. Candy sugar presence is apparent, but it seems to have a bit of an off-flavor that I can’t quite peg. I was a little disappointed in this one--didn’t really taste all that Belgian to me.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 22, 2006
Hazy golden with decent head. Solid belgian yeast and sweet sugar taste with a bit more hops in the finish than most Grand Cru’s. Very good......but I may have had a few too many Decadence IPA’s before this:-) Not overly sweet.
