Amber body with minimal head. Aroma is hoppy and caramel. Somewhat sweet upfront with lots of malts. Simply and easy.

Easy sunrise color with perfect light creamed froth head. Light maltiness and fruitiness in aroma. Sweet, fruity, candi malt flavor with touch of bitterness.

Hazy, vibrant amber. Very grassy aroma with light citrus note. Moderate bitterness. A little grassy still on the palate, and a touch woody in the finish. A relatively forgettable pint...not thinking Liberty is a good "single hop".

Tap at the brewery 12/21/07. Pours a cloudy amber with a nice head and strong lacing. Sweet, gentle nose of candied gummi peach and overripe bartlett pear. While the opening flavor is likewise sweet and soft, orchard juice warmed by gentle candied malt, it quickly turns to a bitter and somewhat astringent finish atop a noticeable diacetyl . The hops close soapy with a bit of grapefruit pith. Spot-on mouthfeel, the carbonation textured but not aggressive. Pretty good, but not among my favorites of their IPAs or even of their their hopfest varieties. 7/3/7/4/14=3.5

Pours a hazy amber hue with a small white head and leaves some lace. Smells of pure hop as well as grass, graham cracker, and even a hint of lemon curd. Mouthfeel is thick and slightly slippery. Tastes earthy and flowery too. The hop is highlighted well and stands out from the leafy background flavors. Somewhat muddled and soapy in places but otherwise fun to drink a single-hop IPA.

(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy amber body with a perfume and watermelon nose. Very sweet flavour balances the high IBU hop base. Very enjoyable.
