On tap at Big Time. Poured black with a dark brown head. Aroma was chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Medium bitterness and lightly sweet. Full body with a wonderful coffee finish.

Nose of roast, darker malt sweetness - a little fruity, a little licorice, a little chocolate. Pours dark brown with a tan non lasting head that settles to light lace and a ring of foam. The flavor has notes of roast, dark fruit, lightly sweet chocolate, dry earthy finish. Starts with sweetness, finishes clean, nice clean finish/mouthfeel. An enjoyable beer.

Draft at Brouwer’s. Near-black brown with a thick beige head. Pretty mild aroma of roasted malt. Has more roastiness on the flavor, some chocolate, nutty notes, some light sweetness but mostly dry There’s a little harsh booziness on the finish, but this is mellow in flavor, overall.

Dark brown color/ tan head. Roasty malt, black licorice, kelp mineral aromas. medium bodied. Dry black malt, seaweed vegetal flavors with earthy mineral, and a candi sugar sweetness, good.
