2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, - MAY 16, 2006
Hazy, vibrant amber colour. Fruity (lime, guava), woody hop aroma with toasty background malts. Light bitterness, matched by caramel maltiness with slight toast accents towards the off-dry finish. Really not one of their better efforts.

Medium amber color with an easy hop aroma and well balanced body with the floral hops slightly dominant. A solid session beer.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DYCSoccer17 (2780) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 15, 2006
4 ounce sample on tap at the brewery. Faint aroma with very mild earthy and citric hops retronasal. A bit of cereal graininess is also detected. Faint, lacking aroma. Mildly hazy copper color with a white head and decent lacing. Earthy hoppiness to start, which turns more roasted and quite malty in the middle. Sweet malts balance the hops out adequately. This is a tad thin, but it is still tasty.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 shadey (1628) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 15, 2006
Orange color with a very thin white head. Light aroma of sweet malt and just a hint of hops. Flavor shows the hops a bit more. Light but drinkable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 OldMrCrow (1420) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 9, 2006
On tap at the brewery.
Pours a dark orange amber with no head to speak of. The aroma is soft but adequately hopped, citrus with slight grassy hints. The flavor is dry, but brings on more whole-grain-toast malts than one might have expected a priori, with plenty of hop accents leading into a fine dry finish. This one is plenty drinkable, an easy but not uninteresting session ale.
