Has a sweetish malty hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor. Sweetish malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. fakepurseninja (548), Sammamish, Washington, USA Sep 11, 2008 Picked this up in a bottle from the brewery. Really great toasted malt aroma. Huge biscuit malt backbone - very toasty with lots of great, grainy components. Very light, lemony citrus notes with a slight grassy piece that is just present for a second before being swamped by the malt on the finish. Great floral hop component. Really great drink. Angeloregon (2008), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 16, 2008 On tap at the brewery in U-District, Seattle, WA--Poured a hazy golden copper-amber body with an thin whitish head. Fruity, citrus and biscuit nose. With a few sips there was more of a floral hoppiness evident. Prickly carbonic alpha hoppy mouthfeel. Not too bad. SDbruboy (1822), San Diego, California, USA Aug 16, 2008 On draft at brewpub. Pours a lightly hazed golden amber, with a small but creamy off-white head. Aroma of summer fruit, toasty malts and light florals. Flavor is pleasant and fruity, with more of the floral hop character, a bit of caramel and hints of pine in the finish. Medium body and tingly carbonation. Very pleasant.
