COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A multiple medal winner in previous Great American Beer Festivals, Prime Time’s delicate malt flavor and gently balanced hoppiness make it approachable to those unfamiliar with microbrewed beers, yet still has a sophistication that pleases seasoned drinkers of real ales. Prime Time Pale is brewed with Northwestern 2-row pale malt and just a touch each of English crystal and light dextrin malts. It is hopped with Yakima Chinook and Cascade in addition to German Hersbruckers.

Picked this up in a bottle from the brewery. Really great toasted malt aroma. Huge biscuit malt backbone - very toasty with lots of great, grainy components. Very light, lemony citrus notes with a slight grassy piece that is just present for a second before being swamped by the malt on the finish. Great floral hop component. Really great drink.

Pours clear straw blond with minimal head. Smell is malt, a bit of caramel. Taste is there, a bit of honey and spice. Good drinkability. Pretty good.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy golden pour with a medium thin off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops and sweet malt. Light body with flavors of mild hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is short with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Fairly average all around.

Clear amber color/ lasting ivory sheen. Nice tropical fruit, floral, pale malt aromas. medium bodied with average co2. Most tasty floral, perfume hop flavors with a solid honey biscuit, grainy pale malt base--Classic PNW Pale.

No aroma. Looks fine. Smoothish in body and plain at first with a little bit of hops at the end. A decent beer, nothing great.

On tap at Big time, poured pale yellow with a white head. Aroma was crisp with malts, and a light herbal hop character. Lightly bitter and lightly sweet. Finish was thin and light.

Some doughy shortbread, little lemon on the nose. Hazy yellow gold, small slick white head. Light bodied, little biscuit, more lemon rind, moderate in body, finishes a bit dry and dusty.

On tap at the brewery in the University District. Pours a clear copper with a small white head. A rich nose of honey and hops. The flavor is malty, light floral hops, sweet corn.

Some times I am a man of few words. This beer was pretty decent pale.

Bottle. Goldenrod color, clear with not much head. Aroma has floral hops, some chamomile, and a hint of mint. Palate is soft and sessionable. Flavors match aromas with chamomile, strictly floral hops, and malts that are well-developed but not competitive with the hops. Simple and easy-going nature, well done.

On tap at pub 12/09. Honey-sour pale. unremarkable, not hop forward and too malty. Sour nose and light body, not their best.
