Nose has notes of belgian yeast, pepper, rosemary, herbal notes, honey. Pours hazy orange golden, nice lasting head and lace. The flavor has notes of honey and yeast sweetness, herbal rosemary and floral notes, black pepper, and more light yeast notes. Medium low carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, well done and interesting.

Rich golden body with a viscous silky head. Spicy Belgian yeast warms the nose. This is a luxurious and regal Belgian yeast aroma, expertly cultivated and with know off notes. Smooth, spicy and mysterious. Viscous body, somewhat of a white pepper yeast character with a viscous alcohol heaviness to it. Rather underbodied when compared with the aroma, but altogether, this makes for a nice Belgian brew experience.

Draft at Bottleworks. Pours a lightly unfiltered darker golden with plenty of loose off white head that leave touches of lacing. Hints of floral, fruity esters, honey, light spice, touch of apple wood. Tight carb and creamy feel. Honey, yeasty esters and spice up front. Touches of Rosemary in the mid palate with a dry whit pepper finish. Drinks easy enough.

Draft at Brouwer’s. Pours a murky bright gold with a dense and creamy off-white head that doesn’t stick around too long. Mildly spicy nose of yeast esters, mostly dominated by honey and floral notes. Creamy medium body with lively carb--could be a bit crisper. Honey and flowers, mainly, on the mid-palate. A little on the sweet side, though not at all unpleasant that way. Mild honeyish finish. Good to see a Seattle saison.
