3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 after4ever (5294) - Brier, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Draft at btbc. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a loose white head. Big forward malty nose, great caramel presence with nice sugary esters and some pleasant herbal hops. Smells fresh and harmonious, well conceived and executed. Chalky medium body with soft carb. A little bit too soft, but probably right for the style. Toast, nuts, and caramel, with an herbal finish. Simple, clean, and easy to imagine sessioning.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 luttonm (1631) - Belgrade, SERBIA - DEC 20, 2012
Draft at Big Time. Deep copper with mild head. Pretty. Sweeter honey-malt nose, body is alt, dark funk malt. lighter bodied, tasty enough, rosy ESB. Nice.

On draft at bottle works. Poured flat with minimal head. Really nice amber / brown color. Flavor seemed minimal with little aroma or finish.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 LarryBeast (274) - - NOV 17, 2012
On tap (from cask). Brownish amber with very little head. Classic hops really shine through and play nicely with the tasty malt blend. Creamy smooth and subtle. Lovely bitterness on the finish. Well executed Brit-style brew.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 OldMrCrow (1518) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 28, 2008
Tap at the brewery.
Pours clear amber-brown with a nice off-white head. Nutty, toasty aroma, some grassy hops around the edges, nothing powerful. Clean drinking, gently sweet, toasty, mild clean hop finish. Not exceptional but perfectly drinkable and in some ways an enjoyable change from all the left-coast IPAs on tap at the same place.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JAN 14, 2008
Perfectly amber color with small white head and little cirrus cloud patterns going on in the top. Leaves consistent lace too. Aroma is fresh pure grain as if it were just squeezed through cheesecloth. A little bit thin and slimy palate. Tastes somewhat bland, muddled and not as hoppy as I’d like it.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BillKismet (3000) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 4, 2007
Brown barrel appearance with a filmy head that looks ages old. Britt style ESB, with Britt smelling hops (Fuggles/Goldings) and the accompanying mustiness. Easy hop flavor sits atop a mild malt presence. Slightly bitter hop finish. Quaffable, and fairly true to the Britt ESB style.

(Draught) Sampled at Big Time Brewpub in Seattle on March 2, 2007. Thin, white dissipating head with clear deep orange body. Nose of caramel malt. Mildly hoppy, milky tones. Lasting bitterness.

Incredible, wonderful. A masterpiece of brewing. Not firey at all. Delicioso. Drink and be merry.

Hazy golden-copper hue. Woody, foresty hop aroma. The flavour is sweet, with toasty malts and a hint of earthy bitterness. Rounded flavours, and an exceptional malt kiss in the finish.
