COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by “that one time in Mexico,” Amigo Grande embodies a certain south-of-the-border style. A bit bigger and a bit friendlier than most, this refreshing Mexican Lager is the hidden beach of Big Wood Brewery and is the only wingman you’ll need in the summer sun when the living is easy and the lakes are calling.

An approachable, tasty lager perfect for summer. There's a lovely biscuit-like malt finish after the wave of clean lager flavor... Quite tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can - big foamy head, dark straw color, sweet corn and wheat aroma and flavor, fair earthy hop finish, mild fruit notes - not bad for what it is, definitely better than a Corona or something. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The brewer is asking bars to serve this with lime. Lightly hazed gold. White bread, hay and grist aroma; the citric acid is helpful. Crystal clear flavor with no off colors. Airy pepper notes, honeyed cereals, and dry grass, again aided by the citrus addition. Sparkly and open palate. This is a well executed, clean and simple example; a laudable accomplishment.

16 oz can poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, light straw and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread and light earthiness with a crisp dry finish.

Can: gold pour, thick pillowy white head. Aroma is grainy cereal, cornflake, light floral hop. Flavour is light to medium malt sweetness, more grassy than floral on the palate. Almost Pilsner like hop with a less biscuity more grainy maltiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at Winterfest. Light gold pour. Floral lager with some spice. Not a bad beer.
