COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Bark Bite IPA on Steroids! Plain and simple. This one might take a few trees down without trying. Itís the one all the lady axes think they can change. He might be a tough guy in the flannel shirt who tears of bottle caps with his teeth, but donít worry heís easy to get along with. Brewed with a mix of Columbus and Centennial hops, it pours pale amber and goes down surprisingly easy. Well, maybe not so surprising, considering itís from Big Wood Brewery.

Reddish gold pour. Nice combination of citrus and pine in the aroma. Hop bitterness balances well with the malt backbone. Relatively clean finish. Nice brew - does a good job hiding the 10%.

Pours an orange-gold, with mid-sized head. Aroma of hops. Flavor is a combination of citrus and pine hops. Pretty crisp, clean mouthfeel. Bitter finish. This isnít too bad.

Slightly hazy golden pour. Nice floral and citrus nose. Lots of white lacing. mostly bitter in the taste. A little sweet on the finish cancels out some of the bitterness.

Hop balance is toward the flavor and aroma end of the spectrum, which is a nice to see from this style. I was expecting a resin bomb, nut the bitterness was very smooth. Sweet malt character balanced the hops nicely. A nicely made DIPA.

Can thanks to khoffman43! Clear medium orange pour, thick foamy head and an aroma of bitter, herbal, resiny hops. Flavor is dry cedar, mild hops, plenty of malt to help balance the alcohol. Hops arenít as pronounced as Iíd like for a DIPA, but still not too bad. Decent beer, but I probably wonít pick it up in the future since thereís plenty cheaper (and better) options.

Tap. Minimal aroma. Initial taste is murky, middle is well hopped, and finishes with slight sweetness and maltiness.

Can: orange gold pour with a thick creamy off white head. Aroma is caramel, candied orange. Light pine. Flavour is somewhat medicinal straight off the bat. Pithy and piney bitterness. Light to medium perhaps bready caramel malt backbone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is a tangerine, citrus, sweet, and sugary scent. Taste is a resiny piney flavor up front, orange, grapefruit, and a nice citrus blast follow. The malt is hidden back there too, nice sweet aftertaste. Very solid imperial/double!!

16oz can. Pours a clear, light copper with a little white head. Decent tracing. Surprised this is 10% abv. Nice bitter hops, pretty well balanced. Keeps tasting better with the more I drink.

16 oz. can. Pours bright orange and clear with a big white sudsy head that settles to a film and sticky lacing. Aroma is rather null with grainy malts and subtle dry hops that are earthy and slightly floral and a lingering sweetness. Taste is sweet gritty sugars of warming booze and somewhat resinous dry hops which is bitter and drying. Palate is medium gritty and finishes with warming booze and dry.
