5/4/13. 16oz can from MY BOI CLEVAR! You bros don’t even know LOL. Dark brown pour, not really black, with a small khaki head. Light coffee, caramel, and bready malts on the aroma with a touch of fruitiness. Dry roasty flavor, thin roasty brown ale or I guess dry stout like they say, a bit of coffee. Eh.

16 oz. can pours an opaque dark brown with quickly fading tan head but rings of lacing. Aroma is predominantly day-old coffee with some roasted malts and perhaps some toffee and chocolate. Taste is bitter coffee with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Body is thin with light carbonation. Easy to drink, but nothing special and perhaps too light for a stout. Not bad, but not worth the $11 I paid for a 4-pack, given the competition.

16 oz. can. Pours brown black with a tight foamy head that slowly settles to a film and some lacing. Aroma has a bitter coffee scent like day old cold coffee with malt and hidden molasses. Taste is malty and watery with very subtle off putting coffee flavor that is bitter and metallic. Palate is medium and dry. Very strange aftertaste, that is not pleasent.

Another entry into the good beer in a can category. Coffee is obviously the name of the game here with this new brewer in the Mpls/St Paul area

Can @ home. Probably not the first time that khoffman has provided big wood for other men’s mouths. Pours a hazy, dark brown appearance with a brown head and nice lacing. Coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate aroma. Really fucking thin body. Slightly burnt malty, chocolate, old coffee flavor with just a hint of smoke. Super easy drinking but a bit lifeless.
