3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled at the Brewpub. It poured a red/brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was malty and fruity. It had a medium body with some carbonation. The taste was of bready malts, plums, sugar, caramel and some grains. Not bad.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear, very dark mahogany; light tan head around the rim, thin cobwebs of lace. Taste is roasted caramel malt with a hint of fresh-cut hay and molasses. Taste moves smartly through the palate to a finish that never lets the hop bittering show up. The resulting sticky sweet finish diminishes what is potentially a quality ale.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rated on 01-30-2010 (Draft) This beer pours a small tan head with a short retention, opaque body, no visible carbonation, a fair amount of lacing, and a brown hue. The Aroma is malty, caramel, earthy, hoppy, and candied sugar. The Taste is malty, caramel, hoppy, and semi-sweet. The Palate is tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer. Overall, the taste of this beer is bland, lacks character, and was boring to drink. This is not a beer I will seek out again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a fairly opaque dark reddish brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells and tastes fairly sweet and malty with notes of caramel and a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Beer tasting I was confused. Too much going on to find a nice balance. Sweet but hoppy, the finish could have been better.

I’ve visited this local brewery several times over the past few years & each time I try the "Busted Knuckle" it gets better. Mellow & smooth, this has become my new favorite brew!

Bomber poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, cocoa, light coffee and light toasted malt. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, carmel, light roastiness and light coffee with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours deep brown with a red tinge....smooth tan head.
Aroma is toffee, caramel
Taste is tart, acidic fruit, slightly sour.
Not very pleasant at all, too thin, too sharp...more like a poorly done old ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark reddish-amber color with a thin and foamy white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hops. Medium body with flavors of sweet malt, ripe fruit and slightly spiced hops. The finish is short and malty. Slightly above average overall.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (and an impressive bottle at that). Buttery toffee malt and bitter herbs aroma. Dark brown color with moderate head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Body on the light side. Not bad - wish the malt flavor came out more though.
