Quite similar to the Binding Römer Pils, though less hoppy. Medium thin body, mild aromas of orange candy, corn and soy milk, with hints of cinnamon. The finish offers smooth, mild bitterness. Nothing special to this beer, though I find it to be agreeable enough.

Bottle bought and consumed in Frankfurt. It looks ordinary and smells of nothing very much, yet is surprisingly pleasant on the palate. Crisp and bitter, dry and lightly grassy, a little malt sweetness lurking in the background and a hint of nuttiness.

500ml Flasche. Klar und golden mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Fad und geschmacklos. Trockener und leichter herber Nachgeschmack.

This beer was a surprise - it has good drinkability, but also has decent flavour and herbal taste. Binding does not have the best reputation, but the Export really is worth a taste. A good drinkable Hessen Export.

This is the "better" brew that is being sold under the "Binding" brand. In contrast to their rather starchy, undernourished Römer Pils, the Export is much more quaffable. Colour: Deep golden yellow with decent, fluffy white head. Aroma is nothing to write home about: a bit of barley, slightly on the malty side and a bit sweetish. Texture is full mouthed, barely watery at all. Taste is both malty and hoppy at the start, with the soft malts adding a roundness that is very pleasant. More bitter towards the middle, but finish is only very moderately bitter, aftertaste mildly malty and rather short. A good session beer.

Wie erwartet eigentlich vollkommen geschmack- und aromenlos. Dabei zwar recht einfach zu trinken, jedoch vollkommen langweilig. Selbst als Piwo nebenbei recht fragwürdig, da jegliches Erlebnis fehlt. Geht so.

Bottle bought in Frankfurt. The beer has got a clear deep golden colour with a crisp body and medium steady head. Aroma of hops and citrus fruits, followed by a taste of hops, grass, citrus fruits and a light metallic touch. Medium bitter with a little bit grainy hints. Refreshing and easy drinkable. Solid beer.

330ml stubby brown bottle. Vintage 1992. Orange amber colour. Very soft. Few hops. Easy drinking and rather unremarkable.
