Quite similar to the Binding Römer Pils, though less hoppy. Medium thin body, mild aromas of orange candy, corn and soy milk, with hints of cinnamon. The finish offers smooth, mild bitterness. Nothing special to this beer, though I find it to be agreeable enough.

Clear yellow, white sort lasting foam head. Not too strong ina roma and taste, would say typical for this style. Great drinking while warm outside. (Velp 201605)

0,5 l bottle, clear golden, foamy but short living head. Sweet grassy with a litttle bit malt on the nose. Taste is grainy, spicy, some malt, a little bit sourness, low bitterness. But can not really convince.

Bottle bought and consumed in Frankfurt. It looks ordinary and smells of nothing very much, yet is surprisingly pleasant on the palate. Crisp and bitter, dry and lightly grassy, a little malt sweetness lurking in the background and a hint of nuttiness.

This beer was a surprise - it has good drinkability, but also has decent flavour and herbal taste. Binding does not have the best reputation, but the Export really is worth a taste. A good drinkable Hessen Export.

This is the "better" brew that is being sold under the "Binding" brand. In contrast to their rather starchy, undernourished Römer Pils, the Export is much more quaffable. Colour: Deep golden yellow with decent, fluffy white head. Aroma is nothing to write home about: a bit of barley, slightly on the malty side and a bit sweetish. Texture is full mouthed, barely watery at all. Taste is both malty and hoppy at the start, with the soft malts adding a roundness that is very pleasant. More bitter towards the middle, but finish is only very moderately bitter, aftertaste mildly malty and rather short. A good session beer.
