* Old rating, 0,5l crowntop-bottle, best before 10.03. Frisch-trockenes Pils. Getreidige Herbe mit trockenem, pilstypischem Abgang. Süffig durch eine ganz leichte Süße. Lecker!

Leighton (11889) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2014
Bottle at home in London, with Lyoli - picked up in Frankfurt. Pours crystal clear pale gold, dynamically effervescent with a creamy white topping. Standard biscuit and light metal aroma with touches of grain and hay. Light sweet flavor with sun-dried grains, biscuits, straw, slight lemon rind. Light bodied with average, sturdy carbonation. Nicely rounded finish with crispy biscuits, off-setting bitter grain husk, hay and light citrus rind, very subtle notes of alcohol. Solid, crisp and dry. A nice-drinking pils.

Moravius (604) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 5, 2014
Vom Faß in einem Restaurant in Hann. Münden. - Goldgelb, klar.

Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

Bottle from Rewe Frankfurt drunk on the train to Wurzburg. Clear gold. Ok aroma. Some cereal minimal hop faint lemon. Better in the mouth. Reminds me of how French pils used to taste to me 20 years ago. Little bit of sting on the finish. Fine.

Out of a 50cl bottle at Frankfurt airport. Not much aroma. Medium body and medium end. Light taste with some bitterness. Tastes like most of the other pils I tried recently. Easy drinking, OK but not much more.
