ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Hazy amber beer. Tidy cream coloured head. Light palate. Dry, a little crispy. Medium malt. Tiny bit of insipid hop. Semi dry finish. Meh and double meh!

Cask at Mytchett Beer Festival 2012. Pours a dark brown colour with a thin white head. Loads of fruit and malts with some caramel in the aroma, has plenty of malt and fruit in the taste with a dry finish.

Bottled. A brown beer with a whitish head and lacing. This is a flavoursome bitter with chocolatey malts and nutty flavours. Fruitiness also. Characterful and a change froma normal brown bitter.

Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, tea bag bitter, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110430]

500ml bottle, best before 30 Apr 2012. Amber colour. Lively condition. Decent well balanced best bitter. Soft, earthy malts and sharp, tangy hops Firm mouthfeel. Good.

At Chriso New Year 2011/12 tasting. Hazy orange brown colour lasting thin beige. Its a bitter. Nice to have a bitter.

Cask @ Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico SW1. Pours an amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with weak hoppy hints.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2011 Cask at Craft Beer Pub. Brownish ale, malty, nutty sweetness, not too much hop but enough to add a note of complexity and moreishness in the finish. Good stuff!

Cask at the Royal Oak, Twyford. A satisfying bitter, chestnut brown with tight white head - nice to see a darker colour after all the light coloured bitters around at the moment. Earthy malt aroma; nutty malt flavour with some caramel and traces of citrus to the rounded bitter finish. I could drink this all night - and did.
