2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask (handpump) at Egham Beer Festival, November 2012. Noted at 4.6%. Darkish copper colour. A lot more cinnamon on the palate than nose. Nothing much else really jumped out at me. Quite light in the mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea (I’m not a big fan of cinnamon).

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the 13th Egham Beer Festival. Bright chestnut with a loose cream head; christmasy, cinnamon, aroma; sweet, nutty, and malty in the mouth, with some cinnamon that isn’t overpowering; then a dry, spicy, warming finish. Well balanced.
