Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Shares with ChrisO. Clear brown beer, little pale tan bubbly head. Okay malts, light and smooth. Mild bubblegum esters. Dry finish. Light and easy going but too one dimensional.

Cask (CWAF2012, Fri)
Delicious, slightly sweet rich biscuity malts. Mellow palate, smooth with the residual sugars. Solid beer, with a pleasant gentle bready roast to it, perhaps a bit milky. Finish is huskier. Great for 4.5%, works as a winter warmer perfectly. Sessionable, and delicious.

Bottled. A near black coloured beer with a soon to disappear off-white head. A dry and smoky aroma with chocolate malts. Dry in the mouth. A bit of fruit and some late bitter chocolate. The chocolate becomes more noticeable after a while. Pretty tasty.

Cask @The Bird in Hand, Knowl Hill. Deep Red in Colour, Spicy/Earthy Aroma. The flavour is very warming, spicey, hint of liquorice.Very Smooth. A Great Winter warmer, could drink it all night.
